All I can say is Amen Sister! Really...double Amen Sister - one for YES with a capital Y and one for the you that you are to even think like this.

In the Fall workshop I am giving, one of my favorite exercises that I am planning is that each person introduce themselves "outside the box of their business cardS" - real and implied. So that means no reference to their titles (including family titles like mom, wife, household manager), industry, company name, etc. and also without reference to any "roles" that they play in their life.

Embracing who you are without that box is really the first step to figuring out which business card is truly right for you.

Love that you're bringing this topic to light!

With age and some wisdom it now seems apparent to me that we are all part of the Universe. The Divine resides within every soul. Keeping that in mind might improve our ability to develop healthy interpersonal relationships and increase our personal self-appreciation. We travel different paths yet we share the journey that always leads home to self and recognition that we are unconditionally loved by the Source of all life.
Yes we blunder at times and doubt now and then, but the truth of our lives is that we are perfect just as are. Our lives unfold to support our highest purpose and all that we need is provided even as we think about what it is we need or think we need to be the best version of ourselves.
Take a few minutes daily to rejoice over all your blessings and you will soon recognize that you have much to be thankful about. Feeling that connection of gratitude sets you up to receiving even more blessings. It's great how that works, isn't it?
Try it - a moment each morning of being thankful - and see your life change for the better. Soon you will need more than a moment to send out your thanks because blessings will keep arriving in increasing numbers.
