TEST – Where’s Your Wealth
Money is always a hot topic….particularly recently with so many people watching their savings and 401k’s disappearing.
But the idea of having money and the idea of being wealthy are often confused. Money is not wealth.
Wealth is what you have when all the money is taken away. Think about it.
The expression, “He/She has a wealth of knowledge on the subject.” That’s what I mean. Money has nothing to do with that kind of wealth. That wealth is there to stay.
Others have a wealth of talent. Or a wealth of experience. Those can only grow as time goes by. No one, no institution, no investment advisor can ever take that away. The amount of money in the bank has nothing to do with these qualities of life—-or the quanitity of your personal wealth, your self-worth.
Then, there’s a wealth of friends. You might think money can buy you some friends—but we really aren’t fooling ourselves for long on that score either.
And, your health. How many times have we heard THAT one—Your wealth is your health. Talk to any person, battling with cancer today and they will confirm that one for you.
So, you might want to take this moment to consider how really wealthy you are—think of it as your inventory of abundance—because wealth is also an attitude. When we acknowledge that we have what we value most—we are wealthy.
