Now is the time to be simple
Now is the time to be simple.
Don’t let yoursef get swept up in other people’s agendas for you….or in your own ideas of what your life ought to look like. “Ought” is like “should”. It renders you out of the present and into judgment or blame or regret or less than.
True humility takes us to our center of truth. It’s unvarnished. It’s simple.
It takes great courage and strength to tell the whole truth about yourself, especially when you have suffered any kind of loss. It is much easier to select only the evidence that points up what THEY did, or how IT happened.
When you can see all of you, in the light of day……when you can activate all of you…..accepting your truth……then, and only then will you come to the next right answers for yourself.

Brilliant…both of you. One for asking the question, giving it serious thought, finding the courage to put it out there:two, for defining the common threads that connect us, offering word of encouragement we all long to hear, and simple steps to uncovering your own joy…whatever that may be. Thank you
Ahhh…this has been a frantic time for me. Your words have touched my soul.
Thank you.
We all need to stop’shoulding’upon ourselves. Knowing self is the doorway to loving self. That in turn allows us to accept as genuine the affirmation from others that we deserve. I think centering yourself daily really sets you up to finding what works best for you and helps you avoid the ‘traps’ of societal and tribal demands. It is alright to say ‘no that is not for me’ or ‘no I do not want to participate at this time’ and do it without apology or explanation but simply because you know what resonates deep within you.
In the centering of self, in the stillness of even a few minutes a day, you will encounter yourself. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the gift you are to the world. So explore and appreciate the woman you have become, knowing you are improving daily. Give yourself the gift of time – a few minutes a day is all it takes to begin. You are worth that, aren’t you?
