MAKING YOUR BEST DECISION……EVER
DECIDING NOT TO DECIDE is….a decision. And, it can be one of the most valuble ways to honor our need to process all aspects of a choice ahead of us.
Of course, I’m not suggesting this if you are in a burning building or if your car is stalled on the railroad tracks. I am talking about the kind of important life decisions that require time………and faith, for an answer.
Before we make any major decision, we have to be clear about what’s true for us, alone. We have to know, for sure, what we value most. A few screams of consciousness, perhaps.
I’m not saying to procrastinate. I’m talking—-percolate. The big things in life don’t need to rush at the speed we run the rest of our lives. The pressure to perform can take us down some painful paths into some pretty stupid and heart breaking moments—-all because of our own need to “have the right answer”, right away.
The answer—YOUR AUTHENTIC answer—will come to you. It will be wrapped in a sort of sterling, inner quiet-ness. It will make you feel still and strong and clear. No doubts. Just YES or K-NO-W.

Very wise, Peggy. I find that stepping out of day-to-day problems, even for a few minutes of quiet time and reflection, helps me access that deep-down knowing-ness where my truths live. From there, decisions are natural and easy without second-guessing. Hugs to you!
