Who Is Peggy Peggy Pepper Wilkinson

In a nutshell, I am a story teller.

It is my belief that a good story can lead us into more of ourselves---allowing us to be the fly on the wall in someone else's life----peeking in to see what's rough and raw or smooth and mellow, in comparison.

It is my hope that the stories and observations shared from my own every day SCREAMS of CONSCIOUSNESS will provide a spark----igniting something new in you----or confirming a belief or feeling you all ready cherish. Its about re-affirming what's true..for you.

there's more...

Inconvenient Love

February 14th, 2011

Hearts and flowers and love.  That’s what today is all about.

Some people are so much easier to love than others, aren’t they?

So, here’s a challenge for you on this day of love….one that has a great pay off no matter what.  Studies have proven that every emotion sends a chemical reaction throughout our bodies.  Gratitude and laughter shoot peaceful, heart healing seratonin throughout every cell.  On the other hand, stress and anger fire up the cortisol and adrenaline—giving us that spare tire and cravings for sugar—creating those high high’s and the inevitable crashes afterward.

So, if nothing else—think of loving the one you are with.  That would be YOU.   The one with the thoughts about others.

What if, today, you consciously sent thoughts of love to any person you find difficult in your life?  What if you wished for them a way out of the thorny parts of their lives that make them so difficult?  What if you could suspend, for one day, any thoughts of retribution or ill will toward anyone who sticks in your gut?

Love is not about them—who makes it easy or hard for us to love.  Love is an inside job.  It is about who we are.  It is not about the flowers we send, but what lives and grows within us every day.

Love your enemies.  And, you won’t have any.
