Who Is Peggy Peggy Pepper Wilkinson

In a nutshell, I am a story teller.

It is my belief that a good story can lead us into more of ourselves---allowing us to be the fly on the wall in someone else's life----peeking in to see what's rough and raw or smooth and mellow, in comparison.

It is my hope that the stories and observations shared from my own every day SCREAMS of CONSCIOUSNESS will provide a spark----igniting something new in you----or confirming a belief or feeling you all ready cherish. Its about re-affirming what's true..for you.

10 Cool Thoughts for Hot Summer Days, #1

August 6th, 2010

Growing up in Houston, every year about this time, I would take some butter and an egg outside, and see how long it would take to do just what you always hear about—-fry an egg on the sidewalk.  Having lived in Dallas for over twenty years, I can tell you that Dallas has the record for the speed an egg will become over easy.

But now, I am too old and way to cranky in the heat—the fascination to fry an egg, when years of hot flashes have been part of my agenda—well, the thrill is gone.

Now,  I just want to stay cool on these hot summer days.  One way I keep the heat at bay is to have something else to focus on—-like a nice, quick thought walk to start the day.  As always, what I find or what pops into my head, will come straight to you too.

Cool Thought #1

The Law of Accumulation:

The sum total of a lot of little things isn’t little.

Thanks for bringing back a memory I had all but forgotten. I recall trying to fry an egg outside on a hot day when I was growing up in Mississippi. Now I live south of Houston and I really could fry an egg outside if I wanted to. But it’s too hot out there!
